Sienna Klaas Puleo is a force in commercial arts.
Her education began at the Oxbow School in Napa, CA, where her creativity thrived in lush wine country. She’s since returned to detail her career for their Visiting Artist Lecture series.
With accelerating technology and social media in the 2000s, she perceived how brands and personas translated their visual elements into sales, encouraging her to pursue a growth market.
She attended The State University of New York at New Paltz and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. This culminated in a feature at The Dorsky Museum of her thesis series, ‘Damsel,’ an exploration of gendered power structures within hierarchical beauty standards. She also balanced distinguished internships at HLN—CNN’s ‘The Nancy Grace Show,’ Troy Studio, and Art + Commerce.
She ignited her career with a graduation offer as a Photo Editor at Michael Priest Photography in Manhattan’s Flatiron District. She perfected building concise narratives through refining coverage of high-profile society events. Outside her job duties, she aided the company in its financial, legal, and marketing endeavors - a skill of being a third-generation business owner.
Pivoting from studio photography, she pursued commercial art business development during her seven years with Agency Access and Found Artists. She was vital in their Sales, Digital and Social Media Marketing, and Photo Editing departments while aiding in two extensive rebrands and a global expansion.
In 2022, she launched Image SKP to innovate image technology.
With expert knowledge in visual success, while maintaining the latest technical standards, she’s seen the industry’s worth of artist websites, combed billions of images, and built an extensive commercial artist network.
She defines the visual elements that exceed business objectives.
